Richard P. Beaudoin, 82, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025. 

Born on April 18, 1943, in Fall River, he dedicated his life to both his family and his business, Beaudoin Construction.

Throughout his life, Richard was renowned for his unwavering dedication to the community. He served honorably in the 118th Military Police Battalion of the Rhode Island Army National Guard during the Vietnam War as a Military Police Officer, achieving the rank of Sergeant. 

Richard was a man of faith. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and served as an Eucharistic Minister and Lector at Holy Trinity Parish and the former St. Williams Parish. 

He was a duckpin bowler, a gardening aficionado with a keen green thumb, finding joy in tending to his vegetable garden and fruit trees. He enjoyed playing cards and deep-sea fishing.

Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 62 years, Helen P. (Levasseur) Beaudoin, and his sons, Gary P. Beaudoin (wife Wendy) and Gregory P. Beaudoin (companion Naomi). He was a proud grandfather to Samantha Beaudoin (wife Bobbi Turner), Paul Beaudoin, Ryan Beaudoin, and Abigail Beaudoin. 

He also leaves his siblings, Paulette Lyons (husband Paul), Marcel Beaudoin (wife Wendy), Rachel Scott (husband Tim), and Marc Beaudoin (wife Cindy), along with many nieces and nephews who remember him fondly.

Richard was the brother of the late Annette Taylor (husband Bill) and Michael Beaudoin (wife Joyce) and the son of the late Roch E. and Lorraine (Morin) Beaudoin.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 22, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street, Fall River, MA. 

His funeral will be held Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 9:00 from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church, 951 Stafford Road, Fall River, MA.  Donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital are appreciated.
