Rachel (Loranger) Rochefort

Rachel (Loranger) Rochefort, 84, of Oak Village, Fall River, MA, formerly of Hillside Manor, widow of Maurice A. Rochefort, died Saturday, January 1, 2011. She enjoyed bingo, Foxwoods, and time spent with family and friends. She leaves 6 children: Robert Smith (wife Paulette) of Berkley, MA, Peter Smith (wife Carol) of Las Vegas, NV, Steven Smith (wife Michelle) of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard Smith (companion Sharon Machado) of Fall River, MA, Donald M. Rochefort (wife Karen) of Tiverton, RI, and Cathy Frary (husband David) of Upton, MA; 10 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 siblings: Lionel Loranger and Dolores Michaud, both of New Jersey, and Gerard Loranger of Westport, MA; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Rose Alma (Langlois) Loranger; and the sister of the late Jeannette Gauthier, Lorraine Smith and Maurice Loranger. Following cremation, a memorial mass will be held Saturday, January 8 at 10:00 AM in Holy Rosary Church. Visitation and flowers omitted.
