Pierre R. "Pete" Bernard

Pierre R. "Pete" Bernard, 64, of Fall River, husband of Jacquie (Payette) Bernard, passed away unexpectedly while at work Monday, August 16, 2010. Born December 9,1945, the son of the late Louis O. and Yvonne (Berube) Bernard, and a 1963 graduate of Msgr. Prevost High School, he was Senior O&M Specialist for Woodward & Curran at the time of his passing. Pete's lifelong passions were his wife, drag racing and his work. Besides his wife of 37 years, he leaves a brother, Larry Bernard (wife May) of SC; a sister, Claire Chace (husband late Perry) of Tiverton, RI; his mother-in-law, Rosa-Lee Payette of Fall River; a sister-in-law, Gloria Walsh (husband Donald) of Seekonk; and nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to American Heart Assn., 20 Speen St., Framingham MA 01701. His funeral was private.
