Phyllis J. (Ashworth) Mercier

Phyllis J. (Ashworth) Mercier, 84, of Swansea, passed away Monday, April 15, 2024. She was the wife of Albert R. Mercier.

Phyllis worked at Lamport Manufacturing, GTE Sylvania, and Raytheon. She was a well rounded mother and was very family oriented. She loved cleaning, gardening, sewing and making quilts.

Besides her husband of 62 years, she leaves three daughters, Robin Rusnock (husband Michael), Michelle Rabbitt (husband Anthony) and Susan Mercier (companion Darryl Hutchins); Five grandchildren, Michelle Saber and companion Johnathan, Jason Rabbitt and wife Marlene, Lauren Rusnock and companion Jusin, Kristie Rabbitt and companion Michael and Amy Hutchins and companion Jordan; great-grandchildren, Damon, Julia and Nathaniel, Aaliyah, Braxton, Brandon, Lincoln and a brother, Walter J. Ashworth.

She was the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy (Thibault) Ashworth; and grandmother of the late Jocelyn Rusnock and Brandon Martin.
