Paul A. Richard

Paul A. Richard, 73, of Tiverton, husband of Theresa A. "Terry" (Bouchard) Richard, died surrounded by family, Saturday, January 8, 2011, following a courageous battle with cancer. He was employed by Hobbytown, Globe Manufacturing, Edgar's, and Macy's. He was a member of Knights of Columbus, Council 4753, Tiverton, and a KOC insurance agent. Besides his wife of 52 years, he leaves 6 children, Denise Hilton (husband Ken), Jeff Richard, and David Richard, all of Tiverton, Gordon Richard (wife Yoon-Hee) of Cary, NC, Brian Richard (wife Dr. Patti) of Haverhill, MA, and Michelle V. Slater (husband Robert) of Somerset; 11 grandchildren, Bethany and Daniel Hilton, Katherine, Matthew, Sophia, Maxwell, Alexa and Ashley Richard, and Olivia, Emma and Mia Slater; a brother, Ronald Richard of Somerset; and nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Arthur "Jack" and Antoinette (Gagne) Richard; and the brother of the late Vivian Camara. His funeral will be held Friday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church, Fall River, at 11:30 AM. Cremation to follow. Visitation, Thursday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
