Paul "Mack" Mello

Paul "Mack" Mello, 65, of Newport, RI, formerly of Tiverton, died Monday, August 17, 2009. A member of the Teamsters Union and United Steelworkers, he was employed by Ann-Dale Cookies, Fall River, Derecktor Shipyard, Middletown, RI and Ann & Hope. A Red Sox and Patriots fan, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was the son of the late Manuel and Laura (Couto) Mello; the father of David P. Mello (finacée Janet Foster) of Fall River; the former husband of Patricia J. Rosa of Fall River; the brother of Thomas Mello (companion Patricia Sommer) of Westport, MA and the uncle of Jennifer Lynn Mello. A funeral service will be held Friday, August 28 at 7:00 PM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Visitation Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Cremation to follow.
