Paul W. Lecour, 89, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, August 21, 2026. He was the loving husband of Lorraine J. (Arsenault) Lecour, with whom he shared 60 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late William J. and Mary E.V. (Bruneau) Lecour.

Paul was a graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School and Bristol Community College. He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. attaining the rank of Corporal.

He was employed by the B.M.C. Durfee Trust Company, Fall River, and then by Texas Instruments, Inc., Attleboro, MA. He retired from Texas Instruments after 34 years of service. Paul was an avid historian.

In addition to his wife, Lorraine, he is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Ann Simbro and her husband Thomas; and his beloved granddaughter, Maryann Katelin Simbro; and his great-granddaughter, Genevieve Elizabeth Allen. He is also survived by his dear niece, Kimberly Lecour-Morrell and her husband Kevin; grandniece, Colby Burch (husband Joshua); and grandnephew, Aaron Morrell. He was the father of twin sons, the late David P. and Marc D. Lecour; and was the brother of the late Arline A. Lecour.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, August 25, 2026, from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St, Fall River. Followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Cathedral, 327 Spring St, Fall River, at 10:00 A.M.. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery.
