Omer A. Thibault, 88, of Somerset, husband of the late Cecile (Bienvenue) Thibault for 60 years, passed away Friday, April 5, 2024.
He was a commercial fisherman, a distributor for Arnold Bread, and employed by Horner Millwork.
Omer was an avid bowler, loved to travel and was a member of St. Anne Fraternity.
He leaves two sons, Gary O. Thibault and his wife Lidia Thibault and Paul R. Thibault all of Somerset; two grandchildren, Eric P. Thibault and Melissa N. Monte and her husband Thomas; a great-granddaughter Olivia Monte; siblings Diane Pelletier, Lucille Pelletier, Robert Thibault and Maurice Thibault and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Gerard Thibault, Albert Thibault and Doris Ragonesi and the son of the late Albert and Claudia (Laflamme) Thibault.
His funeral was private. Donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jue Place, Memphis TN 38105. Online condolences at AuclairFuneralHome.com.
