Olga (Pimentel) Cabral, 89, of Fall River, passed away Wednesday, January 19, 2022.
She was the devoted wife of the late William “Billy” Cabral, supporting him during all his political campaigns.
Born in Ribeira Seca de Ribeira Grande, São Miguel, Açores, she was the daughter of the late José and Ḉezaltina (Soares) Pimentel. A seamstress, she was employed by Cheryl Dress, Anderson Little and Sinester Dress.
She loved gardening and helped raise her granddaughters whom she loved dearly. Olga was a fun-loving woman who enjoyed the company of good friends and family. A communicant of Santo Christo Parish, she was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Society.
She was the mother of Rosemarie Cabral Estrella and Annmarie Cabral Boyd (late husband Lawrence Wayne Boyd), both of Fall River; two granddaughters, Sonja Marie Boyd and Jasmine Rose Boyd; a sister, Fernanda DeBrum of East Taunton,many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Mary Brum, Joao, Jose, Manuel, Horacio and Ezaria Pimentel.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2022 from 3 PM to 7 PM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St.Fall River.
Her funeral will be held Wednesday, February 2 at 9:00 AM from the funeral home with a Funeral Mass in Santo Christo Church at 10 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Flowers welcome or memorial gifts appreciated to either American Heart Assn., Diabetes Association or Coalition for the Blind.
