Normand A. Dube, 79, of Somerset, affectionately known as "Stormin Normand," passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at Charlton Memorial Hospital.
He was born on May 12, 1946, in Fall River, Massachusetts, and dedicated over 30 years of his life to his profession as a financial advisor at LPL Financial.
A kind and generous man, Normand was celebrated for his extraordinary willingness to assist others and known for the phrase that he would give you the shirt off his back. He reveled in spending quality time with his grandchildren and never turned down an opportunity to lend a hand to anyone in need. His warm spirit and unwavering support touched the lives of many.
He served in the Army National Guard and was a longtime member of St. Anne's Fraternity. He also held the position of Commissioner for the Boy Scouts. An avid NASCAR fan, he enjoyed the thrill of the races and was known for his love of travel, dining out, and indulging in sweets.
He is survived by his beloved wife and soulmate of 24 years, Irene A. Moreira Dube, who shared a total of 34 years together after passing 10 days after their wedding anniversary. Normand also leaves his son, Christopher P. Dube (wife Donna); stepchildren Tammy World, Larry Paradise Jr., and Mark Delisle Jr., as well as his grandchildren: Randy, Daya, Hayden, Jacob, Brielle Jaye, Issac, and Emmett, along with his great-granddaughter, Sawyer. Normand was the grandfather of the late Steven Botelho Jr.
He is further survived by his two brothers, Robert and Roland Dube.
Normand was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest J. "Tiboy" Dube and Celestine (Laflamme) Dube.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a funeral service at 6:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street, Fall River. Burial will be private.
