Swansea

Norbina "Norby" Sineiro, 69, of Swansea, passed away on Sunday, November 16, 2025. She was the wife of Daniel A. Sineiro, with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Ribeira Grande, Sao Miguel, Azores, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Maria (Carreiro) Ponte.

Norbina dedicated her life to caring for others, serving as a Certified Nursing Assistant at the former Southpointe Nursing Home. Her nurturing spirit made her a cherished member of the healthcare community and left a lasting impact on the lives she touched.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Norbina had a wealth of interests that brought joy to her and those around her. She was an avid singer, often sharing her beautiful voice with family and friends. Fishing was another favorite pastime where she found solace and enjoyment in nature. Norbina also possessed a passion for baking and cooking, delighting her family with lovingly prepared meals. Above all, she was a steadfast supporter of her family, always eager to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement.

Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her daughter, Veronica Correia; her cherished grandchildren: Sydney Correia, Gavin Correia, Owen Gaspar, and Brody Gaspar; her sister, Grace Teixeira. She was predeceased by her son, Daniel J. Sineiro, her daughter, Irene Sousa, and her brother, Jose Ponte.

As we reflect on Norbina Sineiro's life, we remember her kindness, dedication, and immense love for her family. She will be sorely missed but warmly remembered by all who had the privilege to know her.
