August 28, 1932 — February 1, 2017
Navarro Z. "Ray" Javier, 84, Master Chef, beloved companion of Rose Perry, passed away Wednesday, February 1, 2017. Born in the Philippines, he was employed by various Newport, RI restaurants. Ray was a kind, generous and loving person. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War.
Besides his long time companion, he leaves 3 stepchildren, Dawn Morrell (husband Timothy), Christine Landry and Michael Perry, grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Alexandra, Timothy, Alyssa and Michael; and a great-granddaughter, Jordyn.
A funeral mass will be held Friday, 02/10/17 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Chapel 47 Pulaski St. Fall River.
