Nancy C. Fell

Nancy C. Fell, 84, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2025. 

Born in Fall River, Nancy was the daughter of the late Dr. Ernest M. Fell, Sr and Mabel E. (Alwood) Fell, and the sister of the late Ernest M. Fell Jr. 

Nancy worked at Charlton Memorial Hospital for many years in the Medical Records Department. A devoted member of the Fall River Public Library, Nancy was actively involved, proudly serving on the Board of Directors and as a past President of the Friends of the Library. Her commitment to promoting literacy and fostering a love for reading among all age groups earned her the respect and admiration of many.

When it came to education, Nancy valued her academic journey and held a bachelor's degree, which laid the foundation for her lifelong love of learning. Nancy’s enthusiasm extended beyond her professional life; she found joy in exploring the scenic beauty of New England through day trips, always eager to discover new places and experiences.

An avid puzzle maker and lover of word searches, Nancy enjoyed engaging her mind in various ways, often finding tranquility and entertainment in these activities. Her affection for animals shone brightly through her bond with her beloved Yorkie, Winston, who provided her with comfort and companionship.

In her younger years, Nancy had a zest for travel, allowing her to experience different cultures and stunning landscapes across the globe. This spirit of adventure remained a core part of her character throughout her life.

Nancy is survived by her partner, Richard V. Lemay. 

Nancy's Visitation will be held Monday November 3, 2025, from 9:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M..with a funeral service at 10:30 AM, at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St, Fall River. Burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, 765 Prospect St, Fall River.
