Michelle “Shelly” Arruda

Michelle "Shelly" Arruda, 62, of Fall River, passed away on Friday May 22, 2026.

Born in Fall River she was the daughter of the late John and Claire (Costa) Arruda.

Michelle cherished the moments spent with loved ones, especially during family cookouts. She found enjoyment in getting haircuts. She loved helping her sister, Paula, and taking the best care of her. Michelle also treasured the company of her nieces and nephews, finding delight in spending time with them and contributing to their lives with her kindness and warmth. Her presence in their lives was a gift that will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her siblings, Mark Arruda (wife Jeanne) of Walpole, Paula Mello (companion Eddie Mello) of Fall River; her nieces and nephews, Mitchell Arruda, Melissa Viveiros (husband John), and Kristy Costa; her great nieces and nephews, Collin Viveiros, Ashton Viveiros, Brayden Viveiros, and Brielle Marchand. 

Michelle's Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M., at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St, Fall River.
