Mary F. (Pacheco) Novo

Mary F. (Pacheco) Novo, 82, of Somerset, passed away at home, Monday, August 31, 2026, peacefully surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of Francisco O. "Frank" Novo. Born in St. Michael, Azores, Mary was the daughter of the late John and Cecilia (Grota) Pacheco.

Mary dedicated many years to her work at Macy's in the Swansea Mall, having previously worked at Caldor. She found joy in sewing and doing crossword puzzles, but her greatest love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her husband of 64 years, Frank Novo; her six children, Frank Novo, Anne Thompson, Donna Novo, John Novo, Lisa Novo, and Bryan Novo; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews; and her faithful Siberian Husky, Apollo. She was predeceased by her brother, John Pacheco.

Private arrangements have been made in her honor.
