Marie A. Andrade

Marie A. (Roy) Andrade, 82, of Fall River, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026. She was the wife of the late Gabriel Andrade.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Zephir N. Roy and Albertine M. (Banville) Roy.

A devoted wife, mother, stepmother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, Marie was truly loved by all. Marie worked for Arkwright Finishing Company for many years. She enjoyed going bowling, dancing, and playing countless card games.

Marie is survived by her son, Joshua Andrade, and his fiancée, Tammy Murphy; her stepchildren, Sharon Aguiar, Richard Andrade, and Shelly Lewis; her grandchildren, Tara Andrade, Hannah Andrade, and Joshua Andrade, Jr.; her great-grandson, Leo; her sister, Rose Cantin (late husband Marcel); and many nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Zephir R. Roy, Romeo G. Roy (wife Henrietta), Alice Theresa Beauregard, Armand Roy, Joseph Adellard Roy, Peter Roy (wife Shirley), Conrad Roy, Albert Roy, and Frank Roy.

A visitation will be held on Monday, August 31, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St., Fall River.

Her Funeral will be held Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at 8:30 AM from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph’s Church, N. Main Street, Fall River, at 10:00 AM.

Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery to follow.
