She was the wife of the late Tome S. Lopes.
Born in St.Michael, Azores, Maria was the daughter of the late Manuel and Christina Pacheco.
She is survived by her children, Cremelde Motta (husband Louis), Jose Soares (wife Lisa), and Christina Pereira; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Maria was the mother of the late Lebetia Lopes.
