Maria I. (Cardoso) daSilva, 92, formerly of Bristol, and Newport, widow of Jaime G. daSilva, a member of the Newport Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, died Wednesday, May 2, 2012. She leaves children, Mary Cativo and her husband Gilbert M. of Tiverton, and Jaime H. daSilva of Newport; grandchildren, Michael A., Gilbert M., Richard, and David C. Cativo; 9 great-grandchildren; brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Her service will be held Saturday, May 12, at 2:00 PM in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Newport.
