Maria C. "Connie" (Medeiros) Fernandes

Maria C. "Connie" (Medeiros) Fernandes, 54, of Augustus St., Fall River, wife of Serafim C. Fernandes, and daughter of Barbara (Silva) Medeiros of Fall River and the late Agostinho Medeiros, died Thursday, June 23, 2011. She was employed by Santoro Manufacturing and Quaker Fabrics. Besides her husband of 34 years, and mother, she leaves 3 children, Sandra C. Fernandes (Eric Oliveira), and Rui E. Fernandes, all of Fall River, and Kevin Fernandes (fiancée Melissa Driscoll) of Pawtucket, RI; a grandson, Dylan J. Fernandes; siblings, Maria Augustia Cabeceiras of Assonet and Jose Medeiros of Fall River; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Miguel S. Medeiros. Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in St. Anne Church at 11:30 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery. Visitation, Sunday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
