Margaret Feijo

Margaret (Mendonca) Feijo, age 54, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Peter Feijo, with whom she shared over 29 years of marriage.

Born in Furnas, Azores, she was the daughter of Maria Ana Mendonca and the late Jose Mendonca. 

Margaret loved to travel, especially going on cruises with her family. She enjoyed gardening, cooking, shopping, going out to eat, and starting her day with a good cup of coffee. She also loved taking rides to Newport, where she enjoyed the scenery and time spent with loved ones. More than anything, Margaret cherished the time she spent with her family and friends.

She also leaves behind her precious dog, Rocky, who brought her great comfort and companionship.

Besides her loving husband, Margaret is survived by her beloved son, Michael Feijo, who was her greatest pride and joy, and whose accomplishments in life brought her immense happiness. She is also survived by her siblings, Evangelina “Angie” Mendonca and Jose Mendonca (wife Helen); her aunt, Conceição Sousa; mother and father-in-law, Manuel and Mariazinha Feijo; brother and sisters-in-law, Bella and John Mendonca; Elsa and John Botelho; Milton and Pamela Feijo, as well as several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

She was also predeceased by her two brothers, Eduardo Mendonca (wife Rita) and Louis Mendonca.

Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at 10:00 AM at Santo Cristo Church on Columbia Street. Visitation will be held prior to the Mass at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St., from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. 

Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
