Manuel De Melo

Manuel de Melo, 79, of Fall River, husband of Maria Flavia (Cordeiro) Melo, died Tuesday, October 1, 2013. Besides his wife of 48 years, he leaves 3 children, Larry Melo and his wife Susan of Foxboro, Bernice Taylor and her husband Thomas of Somerset and Betsy Therrien and her husband Richard of Owings, MD; 10 grandchildren, whom were the light of his life, Matthew, Jeffrey and Samantha Melo, Ian, Zachary, Nicholas and Benjamin Taylor, Nathaniel, Connor and Marissa Therrien; siblings, Lourdes Camboia, Miguel DeMelo and Ildeberto Melo; and several nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Friday at 8:30 A.M. from AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Cross Church of SS. Peter and Paul Parish, 47 Pulaski St., at 9:00 A.M. Visitation Friday morning only from 7:30 A.M. to 8:30 A.M. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to American Lung Assn, 460 Totten Pond Road, Waltham, MA 02451.
