Manuel Luis Mello

February 14, 1955 — February 11, 2020

Manuel Luis Mello, 64, of Fall River, husband of Janice (St. Germain) Mello, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

A former pressman for Quad Graphics in Taunton, recently employed by Securitas as a security guard at UMass Dartmouth. He was an US Army Veteran and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, working in his yard, going on adventures with his family and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Besides his wife of 42 years, he leaves two children, Jonathan Mello and Jennifer Mello; three grandchildren, Kaleb, Kallie and Ethan Mello; a brother, Edward Mello (wife Aldina); several nieces and nephews and in-laws, Norman St. Germain and Debra Lord (husband Al). He was the brother of the late Luis Mello and the son of the late George and Maria Eduarda (Carvalho Roque) Mello.

A visitation will be held Saturday, 2/15 from 8:00 AM to 10:15 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., with a Funeral Mass at Holy Trinity Church at 11:00 AM. Cremation to follow.

In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
