Manuel proudly served in the Portuguese Army and later worked as a forest ranger in mainland Portugal. After returning to Nordeste, he also dedicated his time to maintenance work at a local high school. A hardworking man throughout his life, Manuel took great pride in everything he did.
He was an avid fisherman who loved spending time outdoors, especially working in his yard, planting vegetables and flowers, and caring for his beloved fruit trees. Above all, Manuel treasured his family. He will be remembered for his hardworking nature, his love for the simple things in life, and the memories he created with those closest to him.
