Lorraine M. Owen

Lorraine M. (Thibodeau) Owen, 90, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026. She was the wife of the late SSGT Darrol L. Owen USAF, Ret., with whom she shared 50 years of marriage.

Born in Fall River, Lorraine was the daughter of the late Henry Thibodeau and Eva (Faucher) Thibodeau Genard.

She was an avid knitter and crocheter, creating countless handmade treasures that reflected her patience and care. Beyond needle and thread, Lorraine delighted in baking for her family, and enjoyed coloring as an activity. Lorraine’s love extended to her many dogs she welcomed into her heart over the years.

She was the mother of Scheryl Sylvia (husband Michael); Randy Owen (wife Karen), and Neal Owen (wife Marilyn), the late Darroline Firlit (husband Ernest); and is survived by seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; her siblings Gertrude Dennis (husband Manny), Janet Lebeau (late husband Ernest, Sr.), and Henry Thibodeau; as well as nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters Annette Bankey and Claire Rego.

Lorraine's Visitation will be held Monday, April 13, 2026, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM, at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. Burial at Newport Memorial Parkway, 123 Howland Ave, Middletown, RI.
