Lorraine (Ferreira) Mello

Lorraine (Ferreira) Mello, in her 84th year, of Swansea, formerly of Tiverton, wife of the late Manuel C. Mello, died Sunday, December 13, 2015. She enjoyed spending time with family and cooking. Survivors include 3 children, Cynthia Cordeiro (husband Louis) of Tiverton, Donna Leduc (husband Roland) and Manuel A. Mello (wife Catherine) both of Swansea; 3 grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Leduc and Miranda Lee Mello; a great-grandson, Dustin Leduc; 2 sisters, Irene Cabral of Westport and Hilda Souza of Kingston, RI and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Elsie Botelho, Lillian Freitas, Mary Bartkowiak and John Ferreira. Her funeral service will be held Thursday at 10:00 a.m. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Newport Memorial Park. Visitation, Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
