Lorraine (Valcourt) Carvalho

Lorraine (Valcourt) Carvalho of Slade St., Fall River, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Heatherwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Newport, RI. She was the wife of the late John Carvalho. Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Adelard and Anita (Patry) Valcourt. A graduate of B.M.C. Durfee High School, class of 1937, she was a flight coordinator at the Naval War College, Newport, RI for many years. She was a former member of the New Bedford Country Club. Survivors include a sister, Jeannette Laliberte, formerly of Swansea and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Roger Valcourt, Yvette Matton and Doris Martin. Her funeral was private. There were no calling hours.
