Loretta (Cruz) Mason

Loretta (Cruz) Mason, 84, of No. Quarry St., Fall River, formerly of Roper St., died Friday, October 13, 2006 at Sarah S. Brayton Nursing Care Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur Baldwin and the late Stanley F. Mason. Born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Emancio and Angelina (Branco) Cruz, she lived in Fall River most of her life. She was employed by the former Fall River General Hospital, the former Earle E. Hussey Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital, Brockton. She is survived by 3 daughters, Penny Denham and Karen Jeffries, both of Fall River, And Elana Ross of Santa Cruz, California; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandson and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Benjamin Cruz and Nick Cruz. Her funeral was private.
