Lorene Joan Keithan, lovingly known as Lori, passed away on September 7, 2024, in her hometown of Fall River. Born on April 27, 1958, she brought joy and warmth to those around her throughout her life.
Lori dedicated a substantial part of her career to the field, serving as a dental assistant for 44 years at AC Marks and Tiverton Dental. Her commitment and professionalism greatly contributed to the comfort and care of countless patients, and she was respected by her colleagues for her skill and dedication.
She was a proud graduate of Tiverton High, where she laid the foundation for her future endeavors. Lori harbored a deep passion for the Miami Dolphins, embodying the spirit of a true fan through thick and thin. In addition to her love for football, she enjoyed traveling, particularly delighting in trips to Mystic, Connecticut. Cooking was another of her cherished pastimes, as she often found solace and creativity in the kitchen.
Lori leaves behind her beloved wife, Rochelle Gendron, who will carry forward the cherished memories of their life together. She is also survived by a nephew, as well as two aunts and a number of cousins who will forever honor her legacy. Her pet parakeet, Willy, who she taught to talk, brought much joy to her life.
She was preceded in death by her father, James J. Keithan, her mother, Cheryl R. (Mayo) Keithan, and her brother, James Keithan, Jr. Their absence is felt deeply by those who remain, but Lori's spirit will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of her loved ones.
As friends and family gather to celebrate her life, they will remember Lori not only for her unwavering dedication to her profession and her vibrant spirit as a fan, traveler, and cook but also for the love she shared so abundantly with those around her. Her memory will always be a source of comfort and inspiration to those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Relatives and friends are invited to Lorene's Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 18 at 10 AM at Good Shepherd Church, South Main St. Fall River.
