Linda Ann Taylor

Linda Ann Taylor, 78, of Fall River, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 22, 2026.

Born in Fall River, Linda was the daughter of the late Olympia (Borges) Botelho and Maurice Botelho. She was also the sister of the late Sandra Taylor.

She graduated from B.M.C Durfee High School in 1965 and then attended the Fall River Beauty Academy to become a very successful beautician for many years to follow.

Linda had her first salon called Villa Salon in Fall River and later became the owner of a very successful hair salon called Haircutters Dimensions in the old Harbor Mall. After that she worked as a server for Friendly’s in Fall River.

 Linda loved working and being around people, she would talk to anyone who would listen and listen to anyone who

would talk. She was such a great person to get lost in conversation with for hours. Linda loved to play Bingo locally and frequently took trips to Foxwoods to play Bingo too. She enjoyed games like Skip-Bo, Yahtzee, Cribbage and Scrabble and above all she loved to read books. Linda loved to Disco Dance with a partner and most of all she

loved the beach and the ocean. Linda also loved seafood; lobster, clams, clam cakes, mussles, shrimp, fish, calamari; anything from the ocean. She also loved to crochet and made many outfits for all the grandbabies.

Linda was the loving mother of Dawn Marie (Lussier) Blais and Brian Maurice Lussier and of the late Melissa Dawn Taylor; she is also survived by her Grandchildren Zachary Blais and his wife Irina Blais, Jacquelyn Lussier, Emily (Blais) Correia and her husband Michael Corriea, Jazzlynne Lussier, Michael Ricupero and Zia Ricupero. And great-grandchildren Elliana Correia, Irka Blais and Miles Correira.

Linda loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, even though they played tricks on her constantly. I think that was her favorite part. Her infectious laugh, beautiful smile, iconic style, big curly hair, wonderful advice, and huge loving heart is what we will all miss the most.
