Linda Hicks

Linda (Souza) Hicks, 59, of Fall River, died Friday, March 03, 2006 at Bedford Village Nursing Home, New Bedford. She was the wife of the late Robert Hicks. Born in East Providence, the daughter of the late Orselina (Souza) Braga, she lived in Fall River all her life. Before her illness, she worked at Shelbourne Shirt Co. as a sewing machine operator. She enjoyed animals and knitting. She is survived by a daughter, Donna Wilkinson of New Bedford, 3 sons, Manuel Wilkinson of Florida, David Wilkinson of Swansea and Keith Wilkinson of Somerset, 6 sisters, Evelyn Teixeira, Rose Marie Higson and Marilyn Amaral, all of Fall River; Carol Berger, of Seattle, Washington, Judy Buote of Somerset, 5 brothers, Everett Souza of Seattle, Frank Souza of Fall River, Joseph Souza of E. Providence, RI and John Souza, Johnston, RI and Manuel Souza of Somerset, grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Orselina Souza. Funeral service Wednesday, March 8, 2006 at 12 noon in AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 S. Main St. Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery. Calling hours omitted.
