Lillian (Souza) Viveros, 99, of Fall River, passed away Thursday, June 15, 2023. She was the wife of the late Anthony A. Viveros.
Born in St.Michael, Azores, she was the daughter of the late John and Cecelia (Medeiros) Souza and sister of the late Leticia Dias.
A garment worker, she was a member of ILGWU. She was active in politics and past president of The Moose Club. An active member of Holy Trinity Parish and their women’s guild, Lillian was a recipient of the Marian Medal. She and her husband were snowbirds for 25 years in Siesta Key, Florida.
Lillian was a member of Dining Divas "Red Hats" of Greater Fall River.
She was the mother of David Viveros (wife Mary Lu), Vivian Viveros and the late Paul Viveros; grandmother of Derek Viveros (wife Joy), Brett Viveros (wife Kim), Seth Viveros, Ryan Viveros, Erica Callahan, Andrea Callahan, Meagan (Callahan) Welch (husband Adam), and Sean Callahan; Great-grandmother of Justin, Jacqulyn and Grayson Viveros, Ethan and Charlotte Dollarhide;Aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Thursday, June 29 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St. Fall River.
Her funeral will be held Friday, June 30, at 9:00 A.M. from the Auclair Funeral Home, with a Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. Holy Trinity Church, Stafford Rd. Fall River. Burial, Oak Grove Cemetery.
