Leo Desrochers

Leo Desrochers, 85, husband of the late Constance (Goulet) Desrochers, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017.

He was a graduate of Mount Saint Charles Academy, Msgr. Prevost High School and New England Tech. He was a member of South End Athletic Club and enjoyed bowling, golfing and the beach. Leo was an Air Force veteran of the Korean War.

He leaves two sons, Carl Desrochers and his wife Carleen of Westport and Alan Desrochers and his wife Tracy of Somerset and was the father of the late Amy L. (Desrochers) Banville and the late Marc R. Desrochers; the father-in-law of Michelle Desrochers of Tiverton, the grandfather of Ryan Leo Desrochers, Morgan Lynn Desrochers, Kristen Nicole Desrochers, Robert Banville; the great-grandfather of Jayden, Avery and Bradly, the brother of Rita Michaud of NH. He was the son of the late Albert and Antoinette (Lemay) Desrochers and the brother of the late Marguerite Paquette, Lucille Ouellette, Theresa Gagne, Germaine Domingue and Gerard, Benoit, Roger and Lionel "Pete" Desrochers.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 AM from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at Good Shepherd Church at 10:00 AM.

Visitation, Friday from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home. Burial, Newport Memorial Park.
