Lena (Brisebois) Roy

Lena (Brisebois) Roy, 98, of Barnes St., Fall River, widow of Raymond Roy, died Thursday, May 26, 2011. A graduate of L'Academie Jesus-Marie, homemaker and Fall River Public Schools cafeteria worker, she was a member of the Franco American Civic League and the Club Richelieu Auxiliary. Her late husband being the Church sexton, she was a Notre Dame Parish Rectory volunteer, Women's Guild member, and treasurer of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality of the parish for more than 30 years. She leaves 3 sons, Normand Roy and his wife Joan of Shreveport, LA, Roger Roy and his wife Kathleen of Bridgewater, MA, and Paul Roy of Fall River; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Maurice Roy; the daughter of the late Theophile and Alphonsine (Poissant) Brisebois; and the sister of the late Armand Brisebois. Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 10:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 11:00 AM. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Monday 3:00 to 7:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
