Lawrence Silvia

Lawrence "Larry" Silvia, 73, of Fall River, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2025.

He enjoyed a fulfilling career at Vanson Leathers, where he devoted 30 years of his life, earning the admiration of colleagues and friends alike through his hard work and commitment.

Lawrence had a passion for exploring his surroundings, often riding his beloved 10-speed bicycle around the city. This simple pleasure brought him immense joy as he took in the sights and sounds of life around him. In addition to his love of cycling, Lawrence was a devoted animal lover, deeply caring for the creatures that shared this world with him.

He is survived by his daughter, Jessica Silvia; his siblings, Jeffrey Silvia (wife Rima), Gary Silvia, Laurie Zmuda (husband Rory Choquette); his brother-in-law Michael Marcoux, and many nieces and nephews.

Lawrence joins his cherished family members who have passed before him: his parents, Frank and Alice (Soares) Silvia, his sister, Barbara Marcoux, and his brother, Daniel Silvia.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00AM, with a funeral service at 11:00 AM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street, Fall River, Massachusetts. Burial at Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
