Kelly Lynne (Maloney) Piontek

Kelly Lynne (Maloney) Piontek, 56, of Taunton, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2026. She was the wife of Joe H. Piontek, Jr., with whom she shared 10 years of marriage.

Born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Kelly was the daughter of Patricia Elizabeth (Watters) Maloney and the late Raymond Francis Maloney.

Kelly worked as a Nurse Practitioner. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Kelly was an enthusiastic supporter of her favorite hockey team, the Pittsburgh Penguins. Her passion for sports was only matched by her deep love for animals. Throughout her life, she embraced a variety of pets, from dogs and cats to fish, reflecting her nurturing spirit and compassion for all creatures great and small.

Besides her husband and mother, Kelly is survived by her son, Jeremy Cox, and her stepdaughters, Charity Abbot and Lyrra Piontek; her grandchildren, Jacob Abbott, Kaley Abbott, and Andrew Abbott; Her Mother-in-law, Katherine Piontek and father-in-law Jospeh Piontek, Sr.; her Sister-in-laws Mary Anne Foley (husband John), and Jo Anne Czopek (husband Paul). her sister, Colleen Rugh; and her nieces and nephews.
