Keith Brandis

Keith Brandis, 52, of Westport, Massachusetts, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2026. He will be remembered for his generous heart, quick wit, and the kindness he shared with those around him. His family was the center of his life, and he treasured the love and time they shared. 

Keith grew up in Warwick, Rhode Island, and graduated from Toll Gate High School. His desire to serve and protect others led him to train as a firefighter. He later worked in construction and as a tow truck driver, and generously gave his time to support young people in his community. Despite years of medical challenges, Keith maintained his sense of humor and his instinct to help anyone in need. He was devoted to his family and cherished the many memories they made together. 

Keith is survived by his wife, Mary; his mother and stepfather, Linda and Howard Scheuren of New Hampshire; his children, Jared and Devin Brandis of Rhode Island and Faith Brandis of Massachusetts; his stepchildren, Jessica, Jonathan, Jeremy, and Jasmine DuBois of Massachusetts; his sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly and Douglas Brodeur of Massachusetts; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Brandis, of New Jersey. 

A memorial service celebrating Keith’s life will be held on Monday, November 16, 2026, at noon at Faith Chapel Church, 43 Scituate Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island. Family, friends, and all who were touched by Keith’s kindness are warmly invited to attend.
