Karen (Barbosa) Fernandes

Karen (Barbosa) Fernandes, 39, of Burnside Drive, Swansea, died Thursday, October 28, 2010, following a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She was employed by DSW Designer Shoes, Wareham, retiring due to illness. She leaves, her husband Emanuel V. Fernandes; her parents, Mario and Jean (Turner) Barbosa; and her grandmother, Lela Turner, all of Swansea; two children, Michael Barbosa and Chelsea Chouinard; a grandson, Jordyn Sullivan; and brothers, Kevin Barbosa and Paul Barbosa and his wife Stacie, all of Fall River. Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Friday 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
