Joseph John Silvia

Joseph John Silvia, 75, of Barrington, passed away on August 4, 2026.

Born in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Pytel) Silvia.

Joseph was a computer engineer for many years. He enjoyed reading, puzzles, and a fine glass of wine. He was a philatelist, having started his collection of stamps at a very young age.

He is survived by his son Joseph Silvia; his daughter Amy Machado (husband Adam); his grandson Brody Machado; his former wife, Georgeann (Dunham) Silvia; and his siblings, Michael Silvia (wife Paula), Jeffrey Silvia, and Karen Pickering (husband Rick).
