Jose Rego Aguiar

Jose Rego Aguiar, 64, of Fall River, peacefully passed away at Charlton Memorial Hospital on November 1, 2026. Born in Santa Barbara, St. Michael, Azores, he was the cherished son of the late Miguel and Maria B. (Rego) Aguiar.

In his youth, Jose held a deep love for animals, particularly enjoying his time with cows on the family farm. He was also an avid soccer fan and player in his younger days. After moving to the United States, Jose was employed in the garment industry.

He leaves his siblings, John Aguiar and wife Maria F. Aguiar, Maria Correia and husband Richard, Ana Aguiar and Luis Aguiar.  Jose was the brother of the late Eddy Aguiar and is also survived by nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held Thursday, November 5, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River with a funeral service in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow at Notre Dame Cemetery.
