Jose Quaresma

Jose DaRosa Quaresma, 70, of Bristol, RI, husband of Maria A. (DaRosa) Quaresma and the son of the late Manuel and Maria Lucinda (Brum) Quaresma, died Sunday, January 27, 2008 in Bristol. He lived In California and the Azores. Mr. Quaresma enjoyed watching soccer games especially his favorite team Sporting. Besides his wife of 47 years, he leaves 3 sons, Jose M. Quaresma and his wife Roseann of Rehoboth, MA, Carlos F. Quaresma and his wife Virginia of Bristol, RI, and Sergio H. Quaresma and his companion Rosa M. Almeida of Cumberland, RI, 10 grandchildren, a brother , Carlos Quaresma and a sister Celina Belem both of San Jose, California. A private funeral was held Wednesday, January 30, 2008 from the funeral home with a funeral mass in St. Elizabeth's Church, Bristol. Burial took place in St. Mary Cemetery, Bristol.
