Jose M. "Joe" Medeiros

Jose M. "Joe" Medeiros, 49, of Somerset, husband of Mary A. (Oliveira) Medeiros, died Sunday, March 24, 2013. Born in Ponta Garça, Sé�o Miguel, Azores the son of the late Domingos Ignasio and Maria Eugenia (Medeiros) Medeiros, he was employed by Duro Finishing and Stop & Shop Warehouse. He enjoyed playing the drums, golf and hockey. Besides his wife of 29 years he leaves, 3 children, Jessica Medeiros Chaves and her husband Christopher of Fall River and Colton Medeiros and Veronica Medeiros, both of Somerset; siblings, Isabel Simas of Princeton, BC, Canada, Maria and Ana Monteiro, Domingos and Antonio Medeiros, all of Fall River, Margarida Curvelo and Maria Medeiros, both of Sé�o Miguel, Grace Beltrame of Watertown, MA and Dulce Faria of Little Compton, RI; and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Thursday at 7:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral service in St. John of God Church, Somerset at 9:00 AM. Burial, St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. Visitation, Wednesday 4:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
