Jorge Melo

Jorge Melo, 62, of Bradford Ave., Fall River, husband of Maria (de Lurdes) Melo, died Sunday, March 14, 2010. Born in é�gua de Pau, Sé�o Miguel, Azores, the son of the late Jose de Melo Loureiro and Maria do Carmo Cabral, he was employed by Rhode Island Nurseries, Middletown, RI and was a member of the Académica Club, Fall River. Besides his wife of 37 years, he leaves 3 sons, Nelson Melo and his wife Jodi-Ann of Somerset and Arnaldo Melo and his wife Liliana and Luis Melo, all of Fall River; 3 grandchildren, Brady and Abbey Melo of Somerset and Samuel Melo of Fall River; siblings, Jose Tobias Loureiro of New Bedford, Urania Melo of Sé�o Miguel and Eduarda da Silva of Bermuda; and nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Wednesday at 9:30 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Santo Christo Church at 10:30 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Tuesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home.
