Jocelyn A. Rodrigues, 56, of Fall River, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at St. Anne's Hospital. Born on April 29, 1969, in Fall River, she touched the lives of many during her 56 remarkable years.
As a dedicated Lunch Lady at Kuss Middle School, Jocelyn was more than just a provider of meals. She was a comforting presence for the students she served, always ready with a smile and a kind word. Her love for children was evident in everything she did, but nothing brought her more joy than being a mother. For Jocelyn, being a mom was her greatest treasure, a role she cherished deeply.
She found delight in the small things in life: her adored cats, Cora and Rocky, who filled her home with joy, and her granddog, Bryce, whom she loved to babysit. Her enthusiasm for life also shone through in her hobbies; a lover of 1970s music and an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, Jocelyn embraced every experience with open arms. She had a fondness for eagles, creatures that symbolize strength and freedom, just like the spirit she carried in her heart.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy (Viveiros) Pereira, her husband Miguel Pereira, and her three children, Crystal Charron, her companion Curt, Richard Charron, his companion Irianny and Mandi Charron. Her legacy will live on through her granddaughter, Talia Charron, who brought immense joy to her life.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 13th at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service with Chaplain Ines Bates, beginning at 11:00 AM.
Burial will follow at Saint Patrick Cemetery, Fall River.
