Joan (Seneca) Boyer

Joan (Seneca) Boyer, 88, of Assonet, passed away on March 10, 2026, at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born on August 1, 1937, in Fall River, Massachusetts, she dedicated much of her life to compassionate service, primarily through her thirty years of being employed in the Registration Department at Charlton Memorial Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Edward Boyer, with whom she shared many cherished years, and her devoted parents, James E. Seneca and Alice (St. Michel) Seneca, who nurtured her strong values and sense of community.

Joan was the mother of Edward K. Boyer, the late James J. Boyer and the late Brittney Boyer.  She also leaves 2 grandchildren, Seneca Edward Boyer and Talia Lee Boyer Goncalves, and a sister, Dorothy J. Clarke

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main Street in Fall River with a funeral service to follow in the funeral home at 11:00 AM.  Burial will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Robeson St. Fall River.
