Joan M. (Couto) Aguiar

Joan M. (Couto) Aguiar, 78, of Tiverton, passed away at Catholic Memorial Home.

She was the wife of the late Richard Aguiar.

Joan was employed by PrimaCare as a Medical Billing Specialist.  She was an avid New England Patriots fan, a devoted Catholic and a loving mother and grandmother.

Born in Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Deolinda (Couto) Couto.

She leaves a son, Randall Aguiar Sr. (fiancée Paula Reis); daughter Lisa Aguiar (husband David);

A grandson, Randall Aguiar, Jr. fiancée Victoria Resendes;

A granddaughter, Morgan Aguiar; a great-granddaughter, Adrianna Aguiar; a sister, Carole Costa (husband Antone); nieces and nephews.

She was the sister of the late Robert Couto and Peter Couto.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 22, from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 South Main St. Fall River.  Her funeral will be held Wednesday, November 23, at 9:00 A.M. from the funeral home, with a Funeral Mass at Holy Ghost Church, Judson St. Tiverton, at 10:00 A.M.

Burial to follow at Pocasset Hill Cemetery, Main Rd. Tiverton.
