Jeremiah Henry Mccarthy

Jeremiah H. McCarthy, 77, of Fall River, husband of Jacquelyn (Krysa) McCarthy and son of the late Jeremiah and Yvonne (Picard) McCarthy, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008. A Fall River Auxiliary Police Officer and crossing guard, he was employed by Nelson's Dairy and Reed's Dairy. A Notre Dame Parish collector and usher he enjoyed bowling in his younger years. Besides his wife of 57 years, survivors include a daughter, Kathleen Banville; grandchildren, Erin and Brian Banville and great-grandchildren, Evan and Kyle Monast, all of Fall River. His funeral will be held Friday at 9:45 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 10:30 AM. Visitation Friday morning prior to funeral from 8:00 to 9:45 AM. LARGE PARKING AREA and BARRIER-FREE ENTRANCE at the rear of funeral home. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery.
