Jeannette A. (Bileau) Lamontagne Rivera

Jeannette A. (Bileau) Lamontagne Rivera, aged 82, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, at Catholic Memorial Home.

In her early years, Jeannette was devoted to her work as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Catholic Memorial Home. Affectionately known as "Memere Jeannette," she cherished the many children she cared for over the years. Jeannette had a passion for crocheting, arts and crafts, cooking, and enjoyed the lively spirit of yard sales, parties, and dancing. Her love for decorating for every holiday brought joy to those around her. Jeannette's greatest joy in her life was spending time with children and her grandchildren.

Jeannette was the beloved mother of the late Michelle V. (Lamontage) Coe, and survived by  her daughters Denise D. (Lamontagne) Cabral (late husband Jeffrey Cabral),  and Susan H. (Lamontagne) Auclair, her husband Adam Auclair; the loving grandmother of seven grandchildren, Ryan Cabral, Amanda Raposo, Corey Cabral, Kiara Pereira, her husband Jonathan, Andrew Coe, Noah Auclair, his companion Savannah Medeiros and Nathan Auclair, his wife Vitoria; great-grandchildren Benjamin Driggers and Mackenzie Driggers, Ava Pereira, Callie Pereira, Anastasia Pereira and Brayden Pereira; her sisters, Noella Audette (late husband Raymond), Aline Belanger (late husband Rene) Helene Dellert (husband Jerry) and the late Vivianne Chouinard (late husband Emile) and late Roland Bileau (late wife Madeleine);

Jeannette was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Marie Anne (Tessier) Bileau and  was the former spouse of the late Roger A. Lamontagne.

Jeannette was the aunt of numerous nieces and nephews.

Jeannette's family would like to thank the amazing staff at Catholic Memorial Home, Unit 7, for their exceptional care of nine years.

A visitation will be held Sunday, November 1, 2026 from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM 

Relatives and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Bernard's Church, 30 South Main Street, Assonet for her Funeral Mass on Monday, November 2 at 10:00 AM.  Jeannette's burial will follow at St. Patrick Cemetery , Fall River.  Donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
