Henry Soares

Henry Soares, 88, of Fall River, husband of the late Angelina "Angie" (Viveiros) Soares, entered into rest Friday, January 1, 2016. A former employee of UMass Dartmouth, he was a member of the Fall River Council on Aging and the Flint Senior Center. He was the brother of Elsie Rocha; the son of the late Manuel and Maria (Moreira) Soares; the brother-in-law of Jorgina Pinault (husband Emile); John Viveiros (late wife Rita); the late Mary Perry (late husband Joseph); and the late Manuel Viveiros (late wife Lucy). He also leaves many nieces and nephews. His funeral will be held Monday at 9:00 a.m. from the Auclair Funeral Home, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass at St. Bernadette Church at 10:00 a.m. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Visitation, Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Large parking area & barrier-free entrance at the rear of funeral home.
