Helene Y. (Bernier) Coulombe

Helene Y. (Bernier) Coulombe, 92, of Fall River, widow of Lucien A. "Lou" Coulombe, died Friday, September 19, 2014. She and her late husband were the original owners of Lou's Bakery, East Main St., Fall River. An avid traveler and card player, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She leaves a son, Gerald Coulombe and his wife Denise of Fall River; two granddaughters, Stacey Costa and her husband Kevin of Assonet and Heather Tomaz and her husband Dennis of Dartmouth; great-grandchildren, Brendan and Juliana Tomaz; a sister, Angeline Valcourt of Somerset and nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Paul Coulombe; the daughter of the late Albert and Georgianna (Couture) Bernier and the sister of the late Jeanne Ross, Irene Aubin, and Herve Bernier and Paul Bernier. Following cremation, her funeral mass will be held Friday, September 26 at St. Patrick Church, Somerset at 10:00 AM. Visitation omitted.
