Gloria J. (Tavares) Richard

Gloria J. (Tavares) Richard, 55, of Baird St., Fall River, wife of Jeffrey A. Richard, Sr., died Sunday, January 1, 2012. A Durfee High School graduate, she was employed by Lightolier for 35 years. Besides her husband of 32 years, she leaves 2 children, Jeffrey A. Richard (Amanda Dumican), and Rebekah Richard (Kenneth Souza), all of Fall River; a granddaughter, Kaylee Ferreira; siblings, John Tavares of Dighton, MA, Charlene Pascoal of Fall River, and Kenney Tavares of Maine; and nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late John and Velma (Correia) Tavares; and the sister of the late Donna Ferreira. Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9:00 AM from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Holy Trinity Church at 10:00 AM. Burial, Notre Dame Cemetery. Visitation, Wednesday 3:00 to 7:00 PM.
